Pretty, you might want to turn up the sample size per pixel so you can get a sharper render, but the model is beautiful.

Well, what can I say? I think I'll start off with well done. You deserve a pat on the back. Not only is your modeling and use of shader techniques top-notch but your actual ability to relate your model to an artistic basis is very apparent; a skill that most 3D artists lack. You have looked beyond the sights of the ship and created something far more beautiful.

yeah i know, it used about 7 or so AA passes, most of the render settings where pretty default, it might have radiosity on there too i cant remember.

there is a setting for adaptive sampleing but i havnt played around to see what it does or how it affects the render

thanks, its still based on the technical aspects of a trek ship, all of the decks line up perfectly, unlike the cgi of voyager and the other cgi ships off the show, which had weird roller coaster girdlines and bendy deck lines.

i was co desginer for this version, the original was designed by Malcolm "Galen" Lu.

oh its also not quite as detailed as i would want it to be due to the limits of my home pc machine.
